According to Hood Chef, the motive for his movement is to cater to the young adults within the community that were not going to be with their loved ones during the holidays, whether their family resides out of state/lack of expenses/work schedule, etc. Nonetheless, Hood Chef kept the show rolling with his exquisite menu which was in prepartion while the patrons (alongside myself) were already building an appetite for destruction.

The takeover started around 8 p.m. over at El Morro Restuarant, located on 13th.Ave between 37th and 38th Street in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn. Music for the night was provided by DJ Lazer.

The dinner plates for the night were referred to as King Loco’s. The menu for the King Loco plate goes as follows:
Dragon Style Turkey
Stick To Your Rib Roast
Mashem’ Out Mashed Potatoes
Half Baked Mac N Cheese
Magic Stuffed Wild Mushrooms
Winter Mixed Vegetables
And of course Hood Chef’s Special Stuffing……

With the list being brought to everyone’s attention, its safe to say that my King Loco Plate got scraped to crumbs (not to mention, a heavy case of the itis). Check the pics out. Until then, stay cooked

Hood Chef is in the building!

We all know that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so what better way to celebrate the holiday by having the one and only Hood Chef take over a restuarant in, where else, the hood?
